[my weekly commute to anaheim] the strange thing about travelling for work is that it makes coming home feel like you're going on vacation. being away from home for 5 days a week makes me feel a little detached from home - in the best way possible - to the point that when i come back, i feel like it's holiday time. of course, that's helped by the activites, the people, and b :)

this weekend was FABULOUS.

friday: came home to a refreshing shower and home-down indonesian food with terry, van, mary, kenny, vera, byron, and thi-en! went to see dodgeball, the perfect thing for a friday night state of mind, and then crashed crashed crashed .
saturday: gymed, took a gorgeous walk down the embarcadero to the ferry building. got me the new bill clinton book in line to get his autograph on monday,
and had some incredible apricots from the farmer's market. BOUNCED my way all the way from the no doubt concert that same night (my, gwen is amazing at 30 yrs old),
and woke up on
sunday: to a grand slam by alfonzo at the giants game! GO GIANTS!
what a FABULOUS weekend.

[mothership lands in SF] which means that my parents are coming to town. now that they've released their iron clad grip on me (to a malleable iron grip at least), i'm definitely a lot more excited to see them, and i'm looking forward to spending quality time with them. what's on the plate? -- dinner at sushi ran, potentially at firefly *mm*, a trip to half moon bay, and a bill clinton book signing.
of course - they don't know this yet. :)

[final note] BEAT LA.
